Crystallized Water

Crystallized Water

A Poem by SheActsLikeSummer
"

I can feel the droplets pass through me...

"
I can feel the droplets pass through me,
Through my body, through my soul,
Pellets of water slicing into my very being,
Erasing the memories I hold so dear
The ones I wish not to forget,
They race away with the rain,
Forming puddles around my feet;
Melted dreams
Smudging the pencil marks,
And the black ink bleeds,
It rips the flimsy lined paper,
Of my mind
And the pearls,
The crystallized water,
Leaves a permanent imprint,
Of the memories I so wish to forget

This is a great write! It's very well written and flows beautifully.

"Forming puddles around my feet;
Melted dreams"

...i love every line, start to finish, but this stands out to me...well done!

I can fill the very skeleton of your poem - its delicateness as seen in the lines
'smudging the pencil marks,
and the black ink bleeds'

I love the softness of the 'flimsy lined paper'. I love this poem

I wish there was a single moment in my life that summed up who I am. Just a short snippet of time that I could copy and paste here so I didn't have to rack my mind for something to say. But I kind of .. more..
