Thoughts

A sudden rush of air,

Sending chills down my spine,

Distracting from the thoughts,
I so wish not to think

Push them away,
I keep telling myself,
But they don't go, don't leave,
The chill only a temporary diversion

They muddle my mind,
As my self-conscious being,
Stops for a breath,
Breathe deeply, inhale

Hope I like it? Oh, I do. :) I, myself, can't seem to write short poems and be satisfied, like I've said it all in so few words. But you seem to have packed a bunch of thoughts and feelings into a small amount of words, and I respect that ability so much. Very lovely words and form. :)
