Left Broken

Left Broken

A Poem by SheActsLikeSummer
"

Why, oh why, are we made to?

"
Poems aren't meant to be discussed,
Written about, or thought upon in a group

They are what they are,
Delicate, imaginative, beautiful

And if it's fragile being is prodded to much,
It may snap apart entirely

Starting with a tiny crack,
That forms down it's side

But then it expands and eventually,
Shatters altogether

And this substance of words, much like glass,
Is better left broken than fixed

This could be a direct quote from Plato, Homer, and Robert Frost, all in a few simple words and key phrasing.
