Not Just

A poem.

The world is not just a place.
You are not just your mistakes.

The world is everything
and everything
is the world.

The world is bad and good
and beautiful and hideous.

The world is horrifyingly
breathtaking and
breathtakingly
horrifying.

The world is filled
with monsters
and heroes.

The world is filled
with hope
and fear.

The world is so much
and you are a part
of the world.

So that must mean
that you are a lot too.
