Won't Be There ForeverA Poem by SheActsLikeSummerI want to see the places that are there but won't be forever. The beautiful that's getting destroyed. I'd like to visit the forest. Look up through the branches at the bright shards of sky. Hike along a overgrown path in search of adventure. I'd like to visit the reef. Hold my breath as if it's the last one I'll take. See the coral's colour bleed and the fish soak it up. I'd like to visit the delta. Glide over its rivers in a boat made of culture. Go back to the place where I came from. I'd like to visit the rock. Take in the red and breathe in the dust. Watch it all from a balloon in the sky.
