Weep

Weep

A Poem by SheActsLikeSummer
"

A poem.

"
Bristle does the cat's fur
Widen does the wolf's eyes
A scream more sorrowful
than a grieved widow's cries
Sky overcast and dreary
Sky sinister and unlit
They weep for their mothers
to proud to avow and admit
They are faced with the anger
Of those who they wronged
Cower in undiluted fear;
dismay to a pain prolonged
