Door squeaks on hinges as brass handle turns. Light illuminates a dusty porch streaming from the doorway. Shuffle back on shaking legs nervousness envelops. Greeted by large knuckled hands untrimmed, yellowing nails. Welcomed inside the home after few words exchanged. Gazing at bare brick walls and peeling paint. Children gathered around fresh meat. Let go of a deep breath and I do what I do best. Smile.
