Tribute Tragedy

Tribute Tragedy

A Poem by She-Ra

I said not so long ago
It seemed life was never a fair game
She never did want to play
I was always different
I just gambled my life away
Her own woman she never was
She lived by the rules
But always lost
Time and again
All she got in return was
A cocktail of pain
The past always repeats itself
If you do not care for caution
Not as severe as it was to her dead relation
She never did realize it all
The life that she had missed
I was never there to help her through it all
To lost in my own world of hurt and bliss
A simultaneous combustion
Of true love and bad judgment
And as the sign on my door read
Keep out!
I never heard her shout
I wasn’t able to save her
Or give her that she wished
All I could do was send her a smile and a kiss
And share with her stories of the life that she missed
