NothingA Poem by Shay33
As I stood,
Gazing in all directions, There was nothing. As far as the naked eye Could see, Nothing. Nothing but catastrophic winds, Tearing the very ground, And the grounds after that, Away from the Earth. Nothing but blood-stained soil From decades of warfare. Nothing but billowing clouds Of smoke, steam and dust, Vapors, clouding my eyes So that I could not see All of the Nothing, Or lack thereof. © 2010 Shay33Reviews
