The Bittersweet Reality of Things

The Bittersweet Reality of Things

A Poem by Shay33

My tear ducts are sore,

And the rain falls upon this dead house.

I'm positive that I won't get any sleep tonight.

Because it's so hard to find anything real

In this world of plastic and airbrush.

Everybody wants to be a cutout.

We all wish we could be dolls.

amazing title
great first line
really well written
and houses really are dead.
and we all wish.
my impression: very deep feeling behind well written matter of fact lines
impressive.
