Nuance

Nuance

A Poem by Shay33

Imagine, for a moment, that the world was black and white.

Every angle of this Earth, just a blur of grey.

Imagine, if our senses were dulled,

It would be easier to make it through each day.

If our hands were demagnetized

To conform to the way society wanted us to be,

If our eyes were sterilized

And we could only see the zebra stripes that they wanted us to see,

Then what would life be?

If our vision was impaired,

And everything was grey in sight?

Then it would be a race, a chase,

Trying to detect the lines

Between black and white.

Just love to write... and don't like sharing my writing with anyone I know in real life. Haha. I'm pretty open, accepting, opinionated yet open-minded, and pretty easy to get along with, if I say so m.. more..
