Redemption

Redemption

A Poem by Pimby The Poet
"

Struggling with the guilt of doing things you know are wrong.

"
Screaming in pain as my mind sets me ablaze

As I go down in flames my body shrivels

Nothing I become, lying in the pit of emptiness

Tears like blood bleeding through my eyes

Horrors of my past written across my face

As the shame I hold is a burden to me

No one knows of what I’ve done wrong

Only I hide in the shadow of sorrow

My heart only now a dead weight inside of me

As it no longer pumps a pulse through-out my veins

I am only but a drone of loneliness I hold

One of many but many more to come

My silent screams reach no one

Though I wish to only suffer in silence

Pity I shall not have, for I shall sit in shame

Of what I have done, and of my past

I shall wish for redemption for my guilt

But none I shall receive for I am unworthy

I am only but a drone of loneliness I hold

One of many but many more to come

A sad tale of a shameful past and longing for redemption. You've penned this painfully clear.
