Glass bodiesA Poem by Fallen heroFor those who feel all alone, remember there are other like you.Glass bodies Being a glass body is a difficult thing, All those around, looking right through you, Your presence ignored, feelings pushed aside, opaque, lack luster, inadequate. Not good enough for their attention, Silently sitting, afraid to push back, Alone and afraid, not seeing the others like you. All around, Left to dwell in an eternal limbo. We seek attention from another, A person of love, of hate, of admiration, All alone we sit waiting for our turn, Time slips by, Time cracks us all, Leaves us to dwell in pieces. The final crack becomes a break and we all come down.
