Another SwingA Poem by Fallen heroA poem about the nature of society and human being itself.Another Swing I lay frozen, besieged by the rage, “Silence” your weapon, security my cage, Broken by the sadness, left with the slain, Brute at heart, cute by name, My blood runs cold, spilled on the snow, your true identity, still unknown, A hand digs, beneath my roots, giving aid, stopping the abuse, A shadow’s aid, given for free, but only one request, given to me, “Stop the madness, give me your hand, and one day, you’ll rule this land,” The caring, forgiven, The selfish, denied, sadly its always been my face deep inside, judging, tormenting, lacking control, seizing my body, controlling my soul.
