Coming to Terms Within Cruel Reality
Know by which one tells the truth; knowing can be all we do--unknown much to the mind--heart and thought were lost and found with time, Aged to the subtle hints of grey, doubtful to be sure in any sense, In any case be true to thee; in the worst scenario know mercy. Forgive those who forget not was given, as they are rotten picked from trees-- soiled by nature breeds disgust; it is truly lifes irony, The cruelty we bury deep within the core of our beings--our dirt too layered to show, How much more of our Earth unseen; still no comparison in what left to show. © 2016 Shawn Crider |
