Affliction

Affliction

A Poem by Bob Dobbs
"

A new one that addresses the maladaptive social trend Ive seen planting its infecting roots in modern life, people not caring about anybody but themselves and treating each other like dogs.

"
Sometimes
I feel this world is the normalization of affliction
We reflect our own dirty minds
Sometimes
They kick you when your down
They speak of love without real meaning
When life itself is the f*****g crime
Sometimes
I choose and try to forget
That they speak in a secret alphabet
Compassion is a disability
Same stories containing the same lies
Sometimes
