fights like these

That I watch my pain seep out

that I scream and shout

That girl that used to save

that girl has changed..

Oh how badly I want to sin

but i manage to control myself within

I'm not able to cry

no matter how hard i try

That memory of that "used to be" you

can barley seem true

Although having you here is a must

you broke my trust

So i broke our friendship

and now i must watch myself trip

Into that deep dark depression

but I have this one confession

My pain will never be erased

for as long as your memory can be traced

This sounds kind of like me lately. I have felt excruciating pain and have been very broken. I wish I could erase the past but it has shaped me into whom I am today. Good language use and well done rhyming. The rhythm is very neat. Thank you for sharing this. :) ~DMX

I can realate to this so much, it brought tears to my eyes. I understand pain as deep as this, and it can trace deeper pain whenever you have to look back. It's hard not to look back at what could have been changed, and you realize you try to search out reasons why it happened, and that's not good, I learned. Because you blame yourself for something that didn't work out. People change themselves for theirself. They think they can be better, but it's not what they have to do. You don't have to be the best you can be, when you can't take it any farther. Thank you so much for writing this.
