Don't Forget... To Exhale

Don't Forget... To Exhale

Words and Art Sharonlee

"

Remembering those moments-

- sighs within whispers
half smiles under half closed eyes
so-soft fingertips
brushing
stray curls of hair from fire flushed cheeks...
... no need to speak
after years of loving, those eyes
spoke volumes...
just
.... don't
          forget
                  to
Exhale.

I love the mystical weaving of your writing & artwork together. I love how you leave it unsaid that such are moments of bliss, that we unknowingly hold our breath. I prefer a poem like this that paints imagery & lets the message unfold as it may for each individual reader (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
