I Would FlyA Poem by Sharon Jodock-King
Oh
If I could fly I would fly Oh yes I would fly to The edges of a cliff Looking over a deep Crevasse with no bottom I would fly deep into Woods thick with green moss Wrapped around tree trunks So tall and endless I would fly to The sunset with its brilliant Colors as the sun goes Behind the night darkness I would fly to The heavens and check Out if the streets are Really made of golden I would fly to The ends of the Earth Or until my wings tire From winds so bluster © 2022 Sharon Jodock-KingReviews
