Nature

Nature

A Poem by Sharleen Boaden

I went along a green laden path and softly brushed my hands over tallheaded grass
I found myself floating... carried away
Twirling and swirling in Flora's bouquet
It seeped through the closed doors and over the floorboards
of my hearts vacant chambers
..and densly dark corridors
Perferating barriers and self imposed walls
It filled those dark rooms with Lifes sweet perfumes
Bringing in hope and light and victories and freedom from gloom
I settled for no less than to feel and laugh and live
To dream lovers dreams and dance on sunbeams
Yes, I soaked it all in as i drowned in softly lit verde
And marveled at the prayers that were never not heard
