Flounderer~A Poem by Sharanya
If I could have eluted the dark times in all entirety, I would have,
If I could only devoice my mind, cross my heart, i would have. With every hint of breeze I inhale at best, Every flash sends an agonistic note to the chest. And it burns, It burns like you've set a fireplace for your disposition to stay warm, Letting my body burn from the blaze through the imminent snowstorms. But no matter how much I aim to run miles in your way, Hitting holes through the walls stalling, will only crumble my knuckles away. But recalling, I'm halfway through losing my mind, What incredibility do my petty hands have to hide. So just wait for me darling wherever you are, I'll scurry my way through and I'll make sure I find your heart. And I swear, I'm not a flounderer... © 2024 Sharanya |
