White Snow

White Snow

A Poem by ShappireRose

White Snow

White snow has fallen

The beauty of the white upon the gray

The earth covered by angels frozen tears

Alone sits the sun

In the dark of winter

He has no place

To look toward spring

Is harder than believe

In this emptiness of thee

The children sing and play

In the white snow

His heart sinks lower

Spring is too far

His faith fades away

Into the gray

He sees no hope

Of his bringing the

Frist light of spring

When his golden light shall

Bring the flowers of the marrow

A lonely girl

Sits alone

As the other children play

None of them know the scars she hides.

No one will invite her to play

And her heart will break more

She fears going home

Where she endures the hidden pain

Of her scars

The sun see hers

And his heart reminds

For he alone the girls everyday pain

And hopes that her plans will not be true

Today she plans to go away

On this day red against the white

Today the

White snow has fallen
