Tears

Tears

A Poem by ShappireRose

She sits alone

The rain beating down upon her windows

A picture in her hand

What had gone so wrong?

Her love faithful

Never shaken

She held on to him

As his pushed her away

Her eyes now burn as the gentle tapping

Of the rain

Hits her lonely wondow

The tears are falling

Her tears forever burn

Her heart forever broken

As she tries to keep her children from the truth

Daddy is going away today

Not to come again

He will leave with

No second thoughts

The children will hear the final fight

Before he goes away again

"why daddy must you go"

Their tears now seen

In glossy eyes

Their pain always there

Forever real

They are strong

Thier tears are real
