sun kissed visions

sun kissed visions

A Poem by Jesse N. Wall

While breathing
bits of sentences
in and out and all
night long...

You killed my slumber dead you
  slapped me
  with your sweet
   haiku.

     from clouds of color
sun kissed visions fell through sky
     to be swallowed hot

I love this.. sounds like when my randy muses awaken me to give me snippets of a story or a poem. I love the lines "You killed my slumber dead" and the entire last stanza, which I take is the haiku you were awakened for. Excellent write and a new favorite of mine :)
