The old bleeding words

The old bleeding words

A Poem by Shasha
"

On your perspective.

"
Don't let those old words die
Those bleeding ones which once filled my empty soul
I still remember that once they healed my tears with their blood
And cried to calm my silence
Have mercy on these tears
Which are now bleeding to shield those few old words...

Words. They hold great value. I liked the poem and I wanted to know more. Hemingway once said. A great writer bleed to his poetry and story. Thank you Shasha for sharing your worthwhile and good thoughts.

Here's the message that comes to me thru your words here . . . at different times in life we have those huge fights with harsh words said & these words never fade, even years after the situation might've ended between the two people. At different times in life, later on, I need to remember those old bleeding words, so I don't make the same mistakes over & over. Nice way to leave it open-ended, so the reader can find one's own meaning (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
