Hello.

You love someone at your own risk. You tell yourself that it'll be fine either way because even if it ends you'll have the memories and will cherish them for life. But when it does and all you are left with are the memories, you just wish you'd left it at hello. It would of saved a whole world of pain.

I cannot help but think of Jerry Maguire as I read this. Especially towards the end. But it's a nice bit of philosophy that I very much enjoyed. Well done.
