A Place I Can't GoA Poem by ShannielleFaith
There's a hole in this room
like the vastness of empty space. Sucking us in and drowning us out. A vacuum. You scream over the blackness that it will be alright as you exit through the ceiling. And I can't see you anymore as I cling to the carpet begging not to leave. I dig my being into it like a lifeline because I don't want to go where you are. © 2012 ShannielleFaith |
