I can't think of a name :/A Poem by ShannielleFaithOne of my only poems that isn't all that dark.
Let’s lie supine in the grass
and watch the sky fall down on us. Feel the clouds roll under your tongue and the moon dig into your navel. The grass will float us closer on waves of its own, and we can make the pain a deep vibration, the dropping bass of our song. Words are carried by the wind, lips parted by fingertips. I don’t know you, but your eyes look like worlds from here. © 2012 ShannielleFaith |
