Love's RiddlesA Poem by Shane MohamedLove’s Riddles Will I ever miss you when you’re gone Will I ever miss the youth’s fawn You just sit there and ponder you and I’s distance You just sit there and eye me with such indifference If I ever wanted you I would’ve drawn closer I’ll just sit there and unwind the riddles of a true poser Will you just stand there with an arched gait And await the remedies of such wailing fate You’ve been dearly adorned and loved But as I welcomed with embrace you arrogantly shoved Now I ponder upon the concept of time Will it distance and sing a mournful rhyme Some things were just never meant to be
Some lovers intertwine and some were simply meant to flee © 2015 Shane MohamedReviews
