thou feeling fair today? They did you justice not when they called you ugly. Nefertiti was of no comparison to thine beauty. They said your hair was closest to tenured garments. I found it smoother than the finest of silks. When you spoke: it was as if they had heard an a*s groan, But to me it sounded as if a mockingbird had sung to the
heavens. They heard you stutter, But all I heard were repetitions of melodious synonyms. They said you slouched and dragged as you treaded, But I said she’s wise to calculate the notion of each
step. They said you reek of must. All I smelt was thyme and basil and the purest of spices. Can’t they see the sincerity that lies beneath the age? For as they mock, upon time, you turn an honest page. © 2015 Shane MohamedReviews
