BlueA Poem by Shane MohamedCompassion is the cure for sadness.Blue Why
dost my darling look so pale, so blue? I have searched the constellations for a reason; I have searched for every melody, in every season. Still, I cannot make thee fly, as the ones before that
flew. Is there a remedy to this affliction of yours? Are there any wonders I can perform, Any shanties I can storm? For you, I’d sail the seas of burden, to their very
shores. Just slip me a smile, underneath this velvety door, Glisten, as you did once, in your feverish youth, Dance, as you did once, with the Spanish gypsies. I shall be everything you love; nothing you abhor. Because, in all sincerity, in all truth, I’d rather see that smile, that blossoms spring’s daisies. © 2015 Shane MohamedReviews
