![]() Rosy CheeksA Poem by Shane Mohamed![]() Of her rosy cheeks.![]() Rosy Cheeks I
bloom to the sight of thy face, To the knowledge of our merriment, To the sight of thy rosy cheeks that bloom In the midst of the winter’s gloom. Your sighs melt my cold heart, For I praise the interludes of our enchantment; And for you I would cheat death over and over again. Wherein your optimism lies, it is oft contagious, For thine arrow has stuck me straight through My impatient bosom; but I find you saving me, Over and over again. Rescue me one last time. The sight of you blossoms winter’s stubborn cherries. Time and time again, I quiver from the chills of your Merry temperament, but I would not have it any other way. © 2015 Shane MohamedAuthor's Note
