I used to know this girl.
She was happy and alive.
But right now it seems as though she wont survive.
I used to know this girl, as safe as can be,
But now she has to make everyone believe.
I used to know this girl, who kept her chin held high.
But now has to tell everyone good bye.
I used to know this girl who was fun and was free.
I know this girl, only because this girl was me.
