CloudsA Poem by Shaly LaevulinsRandomA blanket of blue we call the sky Covered in puffs, that resemble cotton. Like apparitions of ghosts We can see but never touch. Though the mist of their presence Leaves a chill in your bones. They come and go, in calm and rage. Moving in a pattern we cannot see. Like the beat of a drum only they hear. I look and the sky and consider what I want And what the future might bring to me. Like the clouds, you never know until they’re upon you. In my future, I could be like a cloud. I have always heard my own drum, Now, it’s just if I chose to follow it. © 2020 Shaly LaevulinsReviews
