The FreakA Poem by ShallowedIf no one decides upon our names Then we are dubbed by our shame Every time the child passes by The children hold back- tormenting lies Despite his unnatural youth as a child He acted so normal, never wild But every single person is looking in vain At the boy who is not meant to be, in furious pain They blame the child for the unfortunate ones As if unchosen choices is the boys fault when done They called him crazy, mad, insane, and a freak This was the child they didn't ever seek But freak doesn't care, Even though his destiny is unfair Life has two separate fates Freak caught the one he shall always hate Sometimes he wonders what its like to be real After his parents died, the paths been sealed The boy, the freak, with no name The superiors treated him horribly, as if not tame Freak doesn't care. He has no shame We are glad he will always be the same He will always be the same The boy with no name © 2010 Shallowed |
