The Nature of Kindness

The Nature of Kindness

A Poem by BodilessSoul
"

A poem that describes the types of subtle acts of kindness I've encountered.

"

Like the river that's gentle and nurtures,

kindness flows.

Like the sweet whispers,

kindness flows.

Like the open smiles and hellos

kindness flows-

Down the Stream of Human Nature,

to the Ocean of Devotion,

to the sky it goes

and the kindness flows.

The loving words and care it holds

the kindness of others shows.

From the depth of despair

one of curtesy acts

from among those who wouldn't dare

to spread hope and the happiness some lack.

Like the people walking in crowds down the street,

Kindness flows-

Down the Stream of Human Nature,

to the Ocean of Devotion,

to the sky it goes

and the kindness flows...

Ever so discreet.

Ah, what a nice-light-reading poem.
You're right, kindness does...uh...flow, if you know where to find it?
I like the tranquility of this poem, no pun intended, it has a rather nice f l o w to it.
Well done,
