First Kiss (Not What I Expected...)

First Kiss (Not What I Expected...)

A Poem by BodilessSoul
"

CPR class... maniquin... and a girl who hasn't been kissed.

"

A girl's romantic fantasy

Is to be whisked away by someone they fancy

With a wonderful first kiss

Well, I never imagined it would be like this...

He was an all american produced Ken look-a-like

And I named him Mike

But in all truth, I didn't know his name

It didn't really matter, all in all, no name or a name, it was all the same

He wasn't the one I thought I'd fall for

In truth, there's no one I didn't want more

So when I had to lower my lips to his

Preparing myself for a very fake kiss

I tried to imagine my celebrity crush

As I blew in the air with a rush

CPR class, what a piece of cake

that's what I thought before I walked in and saw him, Mike, lying on the floor, ready for a take.

I have nothing against maniquins, they're fun to mess around with and look at

But not when they're lying on THAT mat

Ready for a pucker,

God I'm such a sucker.

My first kiss, whoever would conceive

the thought that I'd give it up to a CPR trainee,

A plastic dolly.
