Happiness In A Bottle

Happiness In A Bottle

A Poem by BodilessSoul
"

Love can turn a teen into a happy sappy little girl all over again.

"

My cheeks

They ache from the smile

Plastered on my face.

I'm like a botox gone wrong case

But I'm pleased that it's been done

Because I'm oh so happy

Giggles and smiles

What's wrong with you?

That's what they ask

Because they've never seen me

This way

My stomach hurts

My ribs scream in protest

From all the laughter exploding

From within me

What's wrong with me?

That's what I ask

Because I'VE never seen myself

This way

Giggles and smiles

Smiles and giggles

Giggle

Giggle

Giggle

Smile

Smile

Smile

What the heck?

Pull my cheeks

Clasp my mouth

But it always comes out.

What is wrong with this picture?

Where are my frowns

They've disappeared now that you've been found

What have you done to me?

That's what everyone asks

because they've never seen me

This way

As this person

So full of glee, it should be illegal

Because it sure as hell is lethal.

I'm happiness in a bottle

And I'm ready to burst out.
