I Left The Back Door Unlocked

I Left The Back Door Unlocked

A Poem by Shae

Before I lay and we make this something its not
Allow me
The conversation when
I told you that he had taken time
But hadn't took long at all
The conversation when
I told you that I'd known bare a man who forced entry, but had still found me wet
I was ashamed
The conversation when
I tucked away a fee when I realized that man was you
I caught my jaw, but let the secret spill
I sat at my bedside last night, guiding my tears with shreds of tissue, never letting one hit the floor
Why?
I knew the silhouette nor the figure
I knew it was you because I followed your eyes as they left mine
How it is to stalk guilt
You gave "into" me
Came in a lie, bold
I knew nothing of you, you let me believe you
I didn't know you
I left the back door unlocked on accident
I did not give you permission, but allowed you access
You felt me wanting you, so there were no locks to pick.
I left the back door unlocked on accident
You should of knocked
Summoned me,
But you came in a lie, bold

This is hard. Honesty is often hard, as is catharsis.
I admire your openness and the strength of your words.
