Altered Eye

She saw the world

With an altered view

A dreamer in a dull world

Her thoughts of glamour

Clouded by manure

She wanted to escape

An old boring state

Explore her craziest desires

Take risks of venom and fire

Inside she had wonderland

Blocked by expectations and rules

Only time will tell

How long till she breaks through
