Revelations

Revelations

A Poem by Forsaken
"

A poem I wrote instead of sleeping. Who needs sleeping anyway?!

"

Your visages were full of scars from sorrow
In the midst of all the silence and bustle

You felt alone and empty, as if you were hollow

Inside your mind thoughts would rustle

Like wondering if you were crazy, or maybe broken

So obviously that is who you were then

So very weak-willed and soft-spoken

Avoiding contact with others again and again

But who were you to have known

That the one you person you seemed to hate

Would be the one to stop you from being alone,

Or that she would pull you out of your sorry mental state

Now be ever grateful to your best friend

Because where would you be without her in the end
