Perpetually Unbreakable

Perpetually Unbreakable

A Poem by ShadowsIntoLight

Perpetually Unbreakable

"

(This is another poem me and my best friend wrote together)

My mind absently wanders to what we've become,
The love we once had is coming undone.
The sorrow I feel, deep down in my heart,
Piercing through, like a poisoned dart.

Why does your vacancy choke my desperate longings
Why does it feel like change  is coming
Why does this bond seem shattered scattered
leaving nothing..

The infirmity I feel when we’re not together,
Makes me insecure about our future,
Oh the grief I experience  about it all,
Makes me wonder if we are soon to fall

Though alas my dear these  doubts  will vanish
Knowing I'll gaze upon your face once more
Embracing like we did before
So take heart
With the coming days
For the hour of our fate is nearing
Our hearts will be mended
Once nothing lay interfering

You pen your words with a precision that I only see in a few writers. Love the poem, keep it up!
