Deceipt

Deceipt

A Poem by Shadows Ember

People see us as an improbable pair.

You with the horns,
but I with the halo.

This is funny you see,
for we have them deceived.

You're the one with the wings,
while my tail is sharp as shards of glass.

What they do not realize,
is our roles are reversed.

You're the angel,
While i am the one who's cursed.

Though I must not be in eternal damnation,

For if I was,

You wouldn't be mine.

He is lucky to have you, I'm just not sure if he realizes that or not. Anyway, interesting piece, nice job with the word choice. The format and flow are well done, actually very well done. Anyway, awesome piece
