We are close yet distanced.
In our hearts we are close
But in space we are apart.
Like the moon and Earth
We are close yet distanced

Through our hearts
We are closer than ever.
Always near each other
Never to be apart.
Close yet distanced.

Though distance may keep us apart,
Through our hearts
We are one.
Never meant to be apart
We are close yet distanced

Forever be us bound together
No matter the distance between us.
We will forever be together,
Together in our hearts.
Close yet distanced.

Ok.
This poem is an attempt to rationalize a long distance relationship.
Which is something new and interesting to me... well, in poems I read anyway.

This poem is rhythmic, grammatically correct, (I think?!) and I like that it was wrote in study hall.
I would write poetry instead of study too.

It's kinda hallmarky though.
I would rather hear some great articulation of the drama within your sphere of influence.
I'll go check and see if you have anything like that.....
