Shadows Fall

Shadows Fall

A Poem by Shadowman

Shadows Fall

Shadows fall under the sea

Mermaids sleep in the darkness

Soon they will awake in the frothy foam

Purple, yellow and pink sparkles all around

Tails swishing through velvet waters

Sending sparkles to the surface

Waves carry their essence through the air

Calling to sailers, come join us in the shadows

Breathe your final breath in my kiss

Together we will sleep in the shadows this night
