Confession

Confession

A Poem by Harry Mora
"

Pain can make you someone you don't know.

"
I realize I lived a lie
Those years mock my personality
The person I was not truly me
I became what I despise

I will not ask for sympathy
I did those things of my free will
I did what I thought necessary
And I regret them even still

A villain in my despair
I realize what I did was wrong
I used and used and did not care
Pretending all along to be so strong
