Country Livin

Country Livin

A Poem by Wolf
"

Yup this is my life and im proud of it

"

Dusty boots and dirty hands;

just another day on the farm.

Up at the crack of dawn;

Puttin on those wrangler jeans;

and sliding on these old boots.

feedin the horses and milkin the cows;

some call it work but for me.

I call it passion;

this is all i know and it runs through these veins.

Ma and Pa started this tradition and i intend on;

seeing this through.

passing on the farm to my son just as my father did to me.

my final resting place is under that old oak tree by the creek;

cookin up supper by dusk.

sayin my prayers after bed time storys.

in bed by midnight and it starts all over again here on the farm.

Descriptive and well done! Love the "g" drops (livin, puttin, etc), very appropriate to the feel of this!
Great job!

This sounds very much like a good 'ole country living right here. Man, you make me wish I had a farm with some little animals and a kid again to come and do some work. You did a great job!! And, to be truthful, you got my little 'ole country girl heart. :-)
