sweet regret

sweet regret

A Poem by Wolf
"

my ex called me last night and this is what i felt

"

I heard it in your voice that sweet hint of regret;

you called me last night your voice was trembling all around.

I remember things of the past vivid and sweet;

like a sweet taste of victory,

i know you feel the pain that i had to feel.

But thats your problem now and i do not regret;

things you made me feel suffer the hand you where dealt.

I admire that way you expressed your overcoming of a lost by a win through the event. i like the taste of it/

Yes when the past try to catch up. Forgiveness isn't necessary after a time. We can get use to anything. I like the feeling in your words. Life is a circle. Good will be returns in full. As goes with bad deeds. Karma is a fear judge. A excellent poem. I like the last line.

That definitely has some emotion to it. You wrote it beautifully, though, and that is the biggest deal of it. You did great. Keep up the great writing. :-)

Truly Yours,
Sarah.

Who doesn't know the sweet and glorious feeling of such victory ... but after the haze of hurt and revenge has settled, both can finally clearly see the pile of shards they have left behind...
Thought provoking and well written.
