Simple Mind

Flash backs from my past appear like nightmares,

Hiding shameful truths from our past

i thought i could trust you but im burnt again,

by the fires of your lies.

why did you do those things to me,

hiding in disguise as the one i love

you took my heart and tore it apart.

now once again i have to rebuild and start over,

my life was full of happiness for a moment but now.

my life is full of sorrow,

the demons in my mind have taken over.

all thats left is the cold shell of a man who once,

loved,laughed and smiled.

but now my mind is intent on moving forward,

possibly finding that one who will bring happiness back into my life.

but this simple mind cannot move on till you say goodbye.
