Starshine

Starshine

A Poem by Shadow of Death

My Starshine, how I long to see him...
How I long to look into those emerald eyes,
To feel his arms around me,
Just to hear his voice.
How I long to see him, it's been over a year.
Every moment apart from him is an eternity.
How I wish to feel his heartbeat,
To hear him call me by my nickname,
Rather than just to read it in a message.
How I have longed for more than a year
To see my Starshine.
To sit and talk with him,
To joke with him,
Or to just sit in silence, I would be content.
And now, as day draws to an end, I miss him most.
For night was always his favorite.

If only I weren't so far away I would spend every waking moment with you and every time I sleep I would hold you in my arms. My Moonlight Princess how I too have longed for our sweet reunion. Only you could give me such solace that my soul so desires. My Moonlight Princess will you dance with me one last time to the beautiful music orchestrated by the nigh?
